These Days
In other news:The cookbook was returned to the seller (in Washington state). She sent it to me again. I'm hoping I see it tomorrow.
Tomorrow we are going to visit Matt and Heather and their girls. This will be the first we get to meet Ellie Grace. I can hardly believe she's almost a month old already!
I'm able to drink coffee again! Nate seems to be doing alright with it now. I am only drinking it every other day and sometimes not that often. I remember the days when I'd worry about not getting my coffee if we were away from home. I've decided I don't ever want to be that addicted to anything again.
Isaiah still has some trouble staying in his bed. One of the biggest attractions (besides sneaking into our room to find vicks to smear on his cheeks) is Nathan's crib. Some days I get rather frustrated. Several nights ago we put the boys to bed and after putting Isaiah back in his bed a time or two things were quite. Before heading to bed I walked into the boy's room to check on them. This is what I found...

6 Months
Nathan was 6 months old on the 16th. I took him to the doctor Friday for his check up. He weighs 21 lbs 3 oz. and he's 28 inches long. He's a big boy! He's a good baby. One of his favorite past times is watching his older brother. We enjoy watching the two of them together. In other news, remember the cookbook I was so excited about? Well, I still have not receive it. We had our mail forwarded while we were at Rosedale, but that ended on Feb. 11, and should have nothing to do with my cookbook. However, when I track the package I see that it was here in our little town (to remain unnamed for safety reasons) on Feb. 14. Then on the 18th it was at a post office an hour from here and there it still sits. I called our post office, but they were not very helpful. They admit that they made a mistake and tried to forward the package, but they tell me they have no idea when I'll get it. They say it could take 30 days for me to see it. I finally asked my post office to call the other post office and make something happen. I've worked in customer service before. Somehow it didn't seem like my job to ask them to make a call??? The lady I last talked to said she could do it Monday. I have her name. I've also worked in AR. :)
I need to get off and clean up a little bit. I don't know about you all, but on Sundays I have a bad habit of just letting everything get messy and unorganized. Ah shoot, who am I kidding, I do that on other days too, but Sundays it's just because I'm lazy. (on other days I'm not lazy I'm...oh well) I don't see a huge problem with this except that I like to wake up to a clean house on Monday morning. I don't plan to clean tonight, but I do have to at least pick up a few things.
This has been a very weird and random post. Oh well.

Ice Cream!
This evening we decided to take the boys to the weight room and gym. The gym is one of Isaiah's favorite places on campus so before we walked out the door I asked him, "Isaiah where would you like to go?" He got real serious, then said "Ice cream, pink!" When I told him we were going to the gym he said "Go gym, not play with balls, just watch balls". We usually prepare him that he's not going to get to actually play with the balls if other people are playing with them. He had a great time playing with the balls. Now were home and he's so wound up he won't stop talking. Everyday he says new words. We've heard the following things in the last few days:
"Ouch" when something hit his head
"More wa'er" when he was supposed to be going to sleep. Before I could get to him to get his cup he shook the cup and said "little more in there".
Daddy treated him to honey nut Cherrioes instead of the plain ones Mommy usually gives him. He discovered that they are a little sticky so they are now "icky eerios" and he loves them. :(
Lot's of "Where's Daddy" "Where's Na'an" "Where's my irt (shirt?)" Where's my ooes (shoes)?" etc.
He also repeats EVERYTHING we say which is rather funny. I apologize for the details. I write this stuff to help me remember and for the grandparents. (and because it's my blog and you don't have to read it. :))
Nathan is also growing up and changing. He now has two teeth on the bottom. He is getting very good at playing with toys. He loves his big brother, but sometimes Isaiah isn't all that good for his health. Isaiah just gave him a set of play keys. Nathan loved them until he gagged himself with one of the keys. :(
I think I'm finished boring you all now.
